Basis intros limited release Titanium Edition, new leather straps

The Basic Peak fitness and sleep tracker just got a facelift. It’s not much of a redesign but the tracker got an oomph in the looks department as shown by the limited release Titanium Edition. Basis also rolled out new and more stylish leather accessory straps in various colors like Blush, Khaki, Saddle, Noir, and Fog. Basis also updated the app to include Google Fit data syncing.

Google Fit integration means Peak data can be shared with the health and diet tracking service for a more comprehensive analysis of fitness, sleep, and diet. Basis Peak Playground access has also been added for users to test the experimental features. Heart rate tracking and stopwatch function have been improved as well as part of the app update.

Basis Titanium

The multi-sensor fitness tracker was launched in October 2014. It provides the user a view of his sleep and fitness activities. This includes all day heart rate monitoring, as well as, the basic smartwatch functions like notifications for calls, calendar, and SMS. It’s a fitness wearable band that can last up to a maximum of four days. It’s also water-resistant and can be customized with a range of SportVent straps.

The Peak lineup expands with the new Titanium Edition. It’s the highest quality variant to reflect the personal style of the user. The leather accessory straps allow users to personalize their Basis Peak trackers with their choice of strap color.

The Titanium Edition of Basis Peak boasts of a satin finish Grade II titanium case that is resistant to corrosion, scratches, and nicks. The leather straps are available in five colors: Blush (light pink), Noir (black), Fog (grey), Saddle (caramel), and Khaki (light tan). Each strap has quick release pins and uses genuine leather from Italy and the US. You can easily swap the leather strap with an ordinary Peak strap or a SportVent.
